Rabbits class have had a fantastic week settling into full time school life. We have been learning class rules, following routines and making new friends.
We have been finding out about our school values who are the five dragons, Teamwork Trio, Resilient Ruby, Creative Christophe, Independent Isaac and Challenge Charlie. Each day this week our activities have been linked to a different dragon. These have included, painting a self portrait, working together as a team to build towers and gluing and sticking pictures.
Also this week Rabbits class took part in their first P.E lesson with Mr Jones. They all joined in with making different body movements.
Well done Rabbits class on a very successful week. We are all looking forward to another successful week next week.
Rabbit Class have had a fantastic week following classroom routines and enjoying their learning. We have been exploring our dragon values and including them within our activities. It has been lovely to see all the children investigating new learning styles within the classroom. They are so happy and eager to learn within our learning environment.
The children have used paint to create self portraits and we have displayed these in our classroom. We have also been practising to write our names.
The children have been keen to partake in music and PE lessons.
Well done Rabbit Class. We are very proud of you.
Well done to Rabbit class for another successful week. They have settled in beautifully and are all really keen to learn and discover. We have been continuing finding out about our dragon values and demonstrating these within our learning. We have been discussing our favourite meals and recording our ideas. We have also been participating in circle time activities and working as a team just like our dragon ‘Teamwork Trio’.
Rabbit class were very excited to have their first lesson with Doctor Collins. We all went and explored our lovely school grounds and enjoyed investigating mini beasts using magnifying glasses.
Rosie Rabbit has joined Rabbit class this week. Each day a different child will be able to take Rosie Rabbit home for a night and write down their experiences with her. We look forward to sharing these with the class.
This week in Rabbits Class we have been exploring Numicon to enhance our number work. The children have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Numicon shapes. They have ordered them in the correct order and described each Numicon shape and value of each number. We have also been exploring different sizes and using the language smaller and larger.
In phonics we have been exploring games and matching sounds to pictures.
We have really enjoyed listening to Rosie the rabbits adventures each day and all the children have been very keen to take her home.
Well done Rabbit class. Have a lovely weekend.
