Another busy week in Polar bear Class this week! Our star of the week has been max who has been eager to fulfill his role as the star, well done Max. 

In maths this week we have been learning how to add three one-digit numbers. The children have used a range of resources to support their learning and understanding of how to solve the problems. 

In English the children have been learning how to write character descriptions of monsters that they have created. They have been focusing on their writing skills to improve their writing. They have planned and written excellent descriptions using their imaginations and independent skills. 

In shared reading we have continued to explore the book 'Journey'. They have used their inferencing skills to predict what will happen by using only the pictures. They listened to music to see if that changed their prediction. 

The children have also been exploring habitats, including micro-habitats, in topic and have also explored how to change the tone of a colour using white.
