Week 7

A fantastic week in Gibbons class! Everyone has been excited to learn about the different animals that can survive the harsh conditions in Antarctica. We found out some fascinating facts and the children were able to research how these animals bodies are adapted to cope with such extreme temperatures.

In English, we have focussed on the use of speech for witness statements in a newspaper article.  We have also had fun exploring different headlines using alliteration, rhyme and hyperbole.

Maths has been a great success this week, with children calculating the area and perimeter of shapes with missing numbers.

Another brilliant week! Well done Gibbons!!
