This week we have been writing the next chapter in our adventure stories in English, learning about volume and capacity in maths, and reading and acting out more Famous Five and Secret Seven stories in shared reading.

In topic we have been looking at the differences in the weather and climate in India and the UK. We have been constructing and interpreting line graphs comparing the average temperatures and average rainfall in London and Bangalore. We have also been preparing ideas for a very special piece of topic-related artwork.

In science we have been studying the periodic table of the elements - ask your child if they can name any of the elements and the symbols used for them!

On Thursday we went for a taster history lesson at Trafalgar school during which we examined and discussed different theories about the sinking of the Mary Rose.
