Week 9

This week in Lemur class, we have been very busy looking at angles in our maths lessons. The children have been working very hard, and I am very impressed with their resilience, but also their independence in this task! The majority of the class have been able to estimate, measure, and draw angles using a protractor. This is a very tricky skill, so I am very impressed. We have also been continuing our work looking at newspaper reports and I’m now using our information on   Ernest Shackleton in order to write our own independent writes. These will be the last independent writing of year five, so the class understand how important they are in order to try and get the results that they want for the end of this year. We are very excited about the last few weeks of year five!
