This week, Kudus have been continuing to learn about The Island. The topic of "The Island" has really got the children talking; it's about a group of islanders who treat a newcomer very poorly, discriminating against him based on their first impressions. This week, the children have been writing a discussion text about whether the unwanted man should be asked to leave an island.

In maths, we have started a new project that uses lots of different areas of maths at the same time; the children are designing their own theme park! This week they have planned what to buy, based on their budget and mapped it out so it fits in the area they have for their park. I will be interested to see the finished designs!
