It’s the penultimate week before half term and the spirits are still high in year 3!
In maths this week we have been exploring word problems and challenging ourselves to pull out mathematical information in order for us to work out what is being asked of us.
In English we have been re-writing our own setting description on the Twit’s house, focusing on our expanded noun phrases, prepositions and similes. The children are doing an amazing job.
Shared reading this week has made the children detectives, they have been using their retrieval skills to pull information out of the text and answer questions using specific detail.
The children are doing such a fantastic job even though we are so close to half term and we are all very proud of them.
