A project initiated by the Portsmouth Music Hub. We decided to take part in this initiative to help keep the arts central to our philosophy of developing the whole child and all aspects of education.

All the children have to do is collect and keep evidence of concerts in which they have taken part - concerts or art exhibitions they have seen, theatre visits, museum visits or productions, dance shows and or exams in any of the arts. In fact, anything art-related counts!

Any child wanting to be involved needs to keep some kind of folder with programmes/adverts/exam certificates/theatre tickets/anything which tells us that they have been enjoying their more creative side.

The children then have to bring their folders to us to be validated and they will then gain stamps for each activity on their own passport. Easy! The stamps then count towards the different levels in the passport scheme.

We are hoping that more and more children will want to take part in this scheme, and we are excited to be able to promote creativity in this way.

Passports are available from Mrs Golledge at the Infants’ school or Miss Ellis at the Juniors.
