Greetings from Ocelots!

This week in school thus far has looked like this:

English: we are continuing to look at Biographies. Our next task is to plan and write a biography about the round-the-World solo yachtswomen, Ellen MacArthur.

Shared Reading: this week we have been studying poetry. We have been reading The Invisible Beast, writing the next verse by ourselves and using our imaginations to draw what we think it might look like from the language inferred in the poem.

Maths: we are now starting to look at money to consolidate our column method addition and subtraction.

In Topic we are continuing with our Sea Turtle project and comparing the lovely beaches of Brazil with the pollution strewn sands of the United Kingdom. Yuk!
