Something special is now happening in school…yes, Christmas has
arrived! In school it always has to be early, so the classrooms now
have lights, Christmas trees and a varied assortment of decorations
ranging from hanging paper chains to baubles – all expertly crafted
by the lovely children of course. The classes are also practising hard
for their various shows and performances which will all come to you
digitally this year. It is a very special (and very tiring) time for us all.
Making and baking at home is something that you can of course do
with your little people too. Peel them away from the electronics and
get those creative juices flowing! By experience, mulled wine whilst
painting with children, go well together. Add chocolate and you have
a winning combination

Due to CV, the Portsmouth Music Hub have unfortunately had to
diversify into filming many events this year, rather than having live
performances. However, the Hub has still managed to do some great
digital work in which some of our children have been involved. This
Friday at 11am, there is a showing of the “Special schools Christmas
celebration” – this will be available to watch on youtube after the
showing (https://youtu.be/MJ-eIOTmdeg) Equally the Hub has made
a musical, digital calendar which can also be accessed on the
Portsmouth Music Hub Facebook page. There are other events being
added all the time, so keep a close eye on the Hub pages for more
information.

Please do have a look and enjoy some of the work from previous
years. Hopefully moving forward there will be many more such
occasions to come.

Have a great week and stay safe
