This week the children have been busy beginning to write their own version of our class story. They have come up with some great ideas and have tried really hard to include all the skills they have learnt over the year in their writing. They should be really proud of what they have created so far! 

In Maths, we have moved on from fractions and are now looking at adding 3 1 digit numbers together. The children have been looking at finding known number facts within the equation to help them find the answer. They are looked for one more e.g. 3+1+2= and for doubles e.g. 3+3+2=. They are now getting a lot more confident with their known number facts!

In Topic, the children have designed their own space animal to live on a Planet. They then created a plan and designed their animal. They then used modroc to mould and create a 3D model of their animal. They look great!
