This week in Foxes we loved exploring the outside grassroom for mini-beasts with Dr Collins! We also worked as a team to build a tower out of sticks! 

In phonics we have learnt the I-e split digraph. The children have continued to segment to spell words and write simple sentences as well as applying phonics to read words! Well done to everybody who also practises their reading and writing at home! 

In T4W we have been creating our own story maps for 'The Enormous Turnip' as well as our own storybook! I was so impressed with the independent writing within these! Well done! 

In maths we have been exploring halving amounts into 2 equal parts. The children have worked really hard showing their halving in a variety of ways!
