On Thursday, 22nd February, Year 2 children were able to use all their senses and experience a walk at night in Foxes Forest with their parents, teachers and Dr Collins.
There was a variety of activities to get involved in which included a senses test, making a crown from finding and discovering all of natures treasures, Bat and Moth game and then a walk and talk around the forest with Dr Collins.
Dr Collins talked about what we might see or hear and then she told us about all the animals that come out at night to eat or hunt for food.
It was a very cold night, however that didn't stop the children from having fun and enjoying nature at night, plus there was time to toast a marshmallow and have a warm by the camp fire!!
